Jumping into some XC races or hitting up epic trail rides with your buddies—both are solid options aboard Felt's Nine 6. This 29er features a light, compliant carbon frame that's outfitted with an 100mm-travel RockShox fork up front. The sweet frame and fork combine with tough 29-inch wheels and Schwalbe tires so you charge up steep climbs, carve twisty trails, and roll over rocks and roots with ease. Plus, Shimano's 3x9 drivetrain provides awesome shifting in all conditions while the Tektro disc brakes deliver confident stops. And, the Felt riser handlebars, stem, and WTB saddle round out the capable component spec. Each component has been chosen to maximize your experience, so go ahead, explore your riding options.
Felt's MMC (Modular Monocoque Construction) method is an advanced carbon manufacturing process that allows Felt to mold individual sections of a frame (see image above) prior to assembly. This allows each frame section to be optimized for its individual requirements before being fused together. The result is a frame with completely integrated joints that offer superior strength, durability and a refined appearance.
